Chirp App and Responsive Site for Sparrows - One of the Endangered Bird Species in the World (UX Case Study)

The product:

Chirp App is dedicated app in helping increasing and conserving the population of Sparrows – One of the Endangered bird species in the world. As part of this, I have created an app to make users help in spreading the awareness in conservation and increasing the population of sparrows. This app is designed responsively in a way to make users engage, interact, create a community, shop, participate, contribute etc.,

Project duration:
March 2021 to October 2021


The problem:
As we all grown up seeing Sparrows in our houses evoking memories of childhood. It’s been years they have vanished and hardly we spot them in our neighborhoods, houses due to their gradual decreasing in population. There are many factors for its population decrease. The situation is such that Sparrows have been listed in endangered species of bird.

The goal:
Design an app that will help in spreading the awareness in conservation and increasing the population of Sparrows by making users engage, interact, conserve, participate, contribute, creating groups etc.,

My role:
UX designer leading the app and responsive website design from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities:
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, and iterating on designs.
